4 tbsps butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
In a small saucepan, turn heat on high and melt the butter. Add the sugar and stir to get rid of any lumps that form while sugar is dissolving. Add the milk and vanilla extract, mix, and let it simmer on medium heat for a few minutes. Turn off heat, let cool for a minute, and spoon over dessert.
